Education
Our road safety approach focuses on driver skills and behaviour. All drivers go through a vigorous training programme which is a mandatory driver training course. Further more, at PTC, we take this one step ahead. Every year, during ‘Road safety week’ we host training programmes for the drivers where they are taught road safety rules, do’s and don’t’s, what to do incase of an emergency. During this event, we share our road safety experience and knowledge with our clients, other companies, government bodies and local communities to better understand driver behaviour.

Engineering
​
Engineering: Our road safety managers focus on vehicle condition, road condition and local environment. We give high importance to the health of our trucks. To keep this in check, we have technology in place that helps us monitor this from time to time and intimate in case of any problems. Immediate assistance is provided in case necessary. Our managers map out the safest route to be taken for delivery of our goods, which the driver have to strictly adhere to. This route is determined by the condition of the road and any external forces of the local environment that affect the situation.

Enforcement
​
Enforcement: Our drivers are required to follow our safety rules. To ensure they adhere to this requirement, systems are put in place that allows PTC to monitor vehicle health and driver behaviour. We closely track this data and take actions in case of any violation.

Emergency
Emergency: PTC also maintains a dedicated team for handling any emergency. – The Emergency response team includes dedicated vehicles, personnel and rapid response equipment.
